Cherokee Casino this week announced that they will continue to construct the planned $650 million expansion of their floor space. The Cherokee organization based in North west Carolina contains two hotel complexes, owns 6 casinos and one horse racing track.
The Six Cherokee casinos are named the Tulsa, Roland, Tahlequah, Siloam Springs and Fort Gibson. The expansion programme’s will continue according to officials even in the current economic downturn. Officials believe that the new casino will increase revenue and improve the companies current market position.
“The new Cherokee Casino will provide more than 190, 000 square feet of gaming to the Arkansas-Oklahoma border town along with restaurants, bars and entertainment facilities” said the Chief executive David Stewart.
